This is insane but looks awesome at the same time! The public roads administration in Norway is leading the way in future road planning in creating the worlds first floating highway. This route will cut 21 hours off the travel time of a trip from city called Kristiansand in the south to the northern city called Trondheim? How? By vutting out several ferry crossing's that would normally have to be used to complete this journey. What will this new highway be made from I hear you ask, well....bridges, tunnels, and the new submerged floating tube bridges which give the Coastal road its nickname. I think this will cost more that $47 billion. The bad news? You'll have to wait until 2050 to drive this route as it is not expected to be finished before that! Let me know in the comments if you would drive this route and also let me know what you think about the whole project.
