Now is your chance to see the Dendrobium D-1 E-hypercar in person
If you live in London it can get a little dull seeing endless rows of Lamborghini Aventadors and Ferrari 488s. Regular exposure to supercars can take the shine off a little bit.
We think that's unlikely to happen with this, however. This is the awesome Dendrobium D-1 E-Hypercar, and it's making a rare experience at this year's Blenheim Classic and Supercar show. To give more of a background on the hypercar, it was originally a basic electric hypercar design concept, created in the mid-1990s, by Vanda Electrics, a Singaporean product design company.
In 2016 the sketched designs were presented to UK engineering and Formula 1 company, Williams Advanced Engineering with a brief for them to create a working show car integrating many features of the car which would appear on the production version to be presented at Geneva. A uniquely qualified management team has now been recruited to take the Dendrobium D-1 into its next phase of development, with Nigel Gordon-Stewart appointed as the chairman and the CEO.
As some of you are probably wondering about the specs, the targets of the D-1 are 1,800 bhp; 2,000 NM and a target weight of 1,750 kgs yet it must represent the true feel of a supercar, not big and heavy. “The car is all carbon fibre, advanced composites and alloys which are superlight and super strong.” stated Jens Sverdrup, Member of the Board of Dendrobium Automotive Limited.
Blenheim Palace Classic & Supercar will be held on Sunday 2nd September and will consist of over 1000 classic and supercars. The event will also include the Pirelli Prestige & Performance Competition. returning for its 4th year to take centre stage in the Great Court with 8 classes and 80 carefully selected supercars spanning the last 40 years.
