After 20 laps in 30 exciting minutes around the 3,667km long Oschersleben circuit, it was Prema Theodore Racing driver Oliver "Olli" Caldwell who climbed onto the top step of the podium in race 3 on Sunday afternoon.
Caldwell secured a comfortable lights-to-flag victory, as the 15-year-old Briton made a great start in brilliant sunshine and managed to put several car lengths between himself and his closest pursuer during that time, Leonardo Lorandi (KDC Racing).
"Even after the safety car, I had a good re-start and kept making a bigger gap to the guys behind as the car felt great", explained the Prema driver. Next to his win and 25 points, Caldwell also secured tenth and eighth place in the first two races, scoring one and four points respectively.

"Qualifying on Friday didn't go as planned, but we managed to get good starts in race 1 and race 2 which handed us some points and the reverse grid pole for race 3", he added. And after his first victory, Caldwell is now thirsty for more, being ready to attack again in the second round of ADAC F4 Germany certified by FIA powered by Abarth 2018 at Hockenheim in about two weeks.
But beforehand, both he and his team, Prema Theodore Racing, are looking forward to repeat their German success on Italian soil. There will be four cars lining-up at Adria, not too far from the team’s headquarters in Vicenza. "Our drivers certainly delivered in Oschersleben and, lining-up this close to home, we are definitely looking forward to keeping momentum", closed Team Principal Angelo Rosin.
