ON TEST - HJC RPHA 11

Having used HJC's older RPHA 10+ carbon for the last half a decade, it was time to replace it. I hate to say it, but HJC has quietly gone from ghetto brand to a leading player in the helmet market, no doubt aided by MotoGP development. The previous RPHA 10 is my all-time favourite bash hat. I'm a lifelong Arai fanboy and have tried them all, but HJC just seems to perfectly balance very, very light weight with a quality interior. Not the quietest, but damn they know how to make a lightweight lid. Full review after some summer jaunts. - visit www.hjchelmets.com for more. RRP €549

  • I like HJC design and shape, but my absolute favorite brand is AGV, especially the K1 and the K3. My brother has an AGV Compact ST, it'a a modular helmet, I tried it and it's really comfortable (it's like the one in the picture)
