One in eleven chance for the next Porsche Junior

Earlier this month, eleven drivers headed to the Paul Ricard circuit to pit themselves against each other as they bid to become the next Porsche Junior.

The prize on offer is massive, 225,000 Euros towards a season in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, which runs alongside the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in Europe (and Mexico for a double-header).

If that wasn’t enough, the winner will get additional backing from Porsche including comprehensive training to progress their career including coaching on track, psychological training and media relations as well as an extensive fitness regime.

Larry ten Voorde heads up the list of eleven drivers which includes: Philip Hamprecht, Yoshiaki Katayama, Bruno Baptista, Ayhancan Güven, Lewis Plato, Jaxon Evans, Dylan O’Keeffe, Gianmarco Quaresmini, Trenton Estep, and Lukas Sundahl.

The winner of the shootout will be announced in the near future as the judges look over what they learnt during the test sessions and make their final decision.
