The front of the chassis, cab fenders, headlights are all original. The back chassis, rims, rear end look stunning. Everything is cool about this 38' Ford COE.
The truck has front disc/rear drum brakes, with sway bars front and rear. It's fitted air suspension. The air bag system has dual compressors for quick pressure tank charging and is controlled by a dual Guage setup with individual switchs for each corner. A simple system!! Less chance of electronic failure.
The front suspension uses the original chevy A arm type suspension while the rear is a triangulation 4 link setup. All brake lines, fuel lines, shocks, wirin, radiator, etc are new.Mounted inside the bed of the truck and hidden under a hydraulically lifted black ash bed floor is the engine as well as the air bag suspension system, dual batteries and fuel tank.
The engine is a 350 cubic inch chevy, the engine has a 4 barrel carb, hei ignition and runs a thumpr camshaft. The exhaust is routed out the sides of the truck bed through custom side pipes.The transmission is a 700r4 with a lokar shifter.This truck runs alcoa 10 lug dually wheels that were machined down to accept light truck tires. The front tires are 245s while the rears are 285s.The interior is all new as well, the cab was completely sound proofed before reassembly
