The English rock and blues maestro, Eric Clapton knows nice cars - specifically the Prancing Horses. His Ferrari collection is legendary. He recently commissioned a one-off Ferrari 458, which paid homage to the 512BB for £3,000,000.
In his 2007 biography he revealed how he came to be a Ferrari collector when George Harrison brought over his new 365 GTC, 'I’d never seen one in the flesh before and my heart melted.' He continues, 'I had no license, and had only ever driven an automatic, so I set about teaching myself to drive using a clutch, in that Ferrari.'
Such a lover of Ferraris keeps his toys in good order and let this one go to a good home. The car only has 6,750 miles on the clock at 25 years old. The car has rarity value too: only 1,300 were ever built and it was the last model to be built under the scrutiny of Enzo himself.
The car might feel more at home in America. It's a left hand drive. Good news for our cousins across the pond, the exchange rate at the moment would put the £925,000 car at a dollar value of roughly $1.15 million. Bargain!

stunning, closest I'll ever get near one is the Lego version!
This guy learned to drive manual in a Ferrari; I learned in a 1978 Ford pickup
I can't believe how much they have jumped up in price in recent years. The same goes for the F355.
