One of the rarest, most beautiful supercars ever made is up for sale
The 'Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spider' may be a mouthful of a name, but its beauty is undeniable
With just seven examples in existence, the famed Alfa Romeo Disco Volante Spider is the Alfa supercar you've probably never heard of.
This stunning machine was designed by Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, and is based upon the also-gorgeous Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Spider.
Featuring a 4.7l n/a V8 putting out 450hp to the rear wheels via a six-speed transmission, the Disco Volante Spider isn't the fastest supercar in the world... but JUST LOOK AT IT. It's absolutely gorgeous; Isn't it?
The front end is particularly recognisable, thanks to the triangular Afla Romeo grille, curved edges, and soft shapes. No doubt, if you turned up in this, you'd turn far more heads than any other supercar owner.
Listed for sale with ultra-high-end dealership Auxie Treschmidt, this is the last of seven examples built, and is finished in a stunning red metallic over black interior. Naturally, for a car of this prestige, there is also plenty of carbon-fibre accents throughout, just in case you needed another reason to turn heads in the Disco Volante Spider.
While there's no price listed (if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it) the listing does say that the car will be sold with a bespoke luggage set, custom cover, and a plethora of associated books and documentation.
If you wanted to REALLY stand out, this is just the ticket. Now, time to empty those bank accounts...
