Only two weeks left to buy a brand new C7 Chevy Corvette
Chevrolet will definitively close the order book for the Corvette C7 on June 23. Moreover, some options are already beginning to disappear and will become increasingly rare over time. Currently, there are still several thousand units available for sale in North America. The new Chevrolet Corvette C8 will be presented on July 18. An eighth generation of the famous American sports car which will receive new equipment and will inaugurate for the very first time a mid-rear engine.
No surprise then that the Corvette C7 sees retirement fast approaching even if some rumours were to suggest that the current model would still have its place in the dealerships for some time before definitively switching over to the Corvette C8, due to the new model's particular mechanical configuration. But these rumours were all unfounded and Chevrolet is determined to eliminate the C7 before the C8 even points to the end of its hood.
This does not mean that American customers cannot buy a new C7 Corvette! Indeed, thousands of brand new models are flooding the car parks of the brand's official dealers in every possible and imaginable version. The only customers who will encounter difficulties in the coming days will be those who want a custom-made Corvette C7 because from June 10, Chevrolet will start restricting the orders of its sports car.
Customers will have until June 23 to sign the order form for their C7 Corvette. Although the car is still in production, Chevrolet has already presented what will be the latest model officially manufactured: a Corvette Z06 with a black 3LZ trim level that will be auctioned in the next edition of the Barett-Jackson.
