The Optima Battery Ultimate Street Car Challenge has become one of the premiere SEMA-related events, happening at the finish of SEMA and featuring some of the most potent, full-performance cars proving their mettle on road course at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bull Ring.

As SEMA features the vast array of aftermarket equipment and some of the most outrageous and inspiring builds, the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge allows for such aftermarket improvements and builds to be proven in head-to-head track action. It’s the ultimate “put your money where your mouth is" combined with “run what you brung” motor-culture applied philosophy.

Hot-shoeing the Focus RS around Auto Club....

In preparation for this year’s 11th annual Optima Challenge event, a practice track day and promotional filming event with Lucas Oil Productions and MAV TV was held at the famous Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.
