Otmar Szafnauer has reportedly left the Silverstone based outfit. His duties as the Aston Martin F1 Team Principal will be managed within the team until a replacement is appointed. It has previously been mentioned that he was in talks with Alpine... watch this space!

  • Massive massive loss for Aston Martin. If he ends up at Alpine, it merely cements their position at the forefront of this new evolution of F1. AM however look doomed to the midfield like their Jaguar forebearers

    • I wouldn’t be so harsh on Lance. This season wasn’t his finest, the car was a tractor and Alpine and alpha Tauri were better able to adapt through the year and provide better drives. Maybe with the new spec coming in this year we’ll see a better...
