You may know our good friend Freddy "Tavarish" Hernandez from his time at Jalopnik where he wrote many articles about purchasing cheap, fun cars for the price of a new Matag dishwasher. Or something like that.

About a year ago he went full time on YouTube and has been crushing it gaining more than 100,000 subscribers and buying and fixing up some of the coolest/strangest cars I've ever seen. Like one of his newest projects, a Toyota MR2 that seems like it should have been sent to the scrap heap long ago. That one isn't the coolest though.

As you'll see in the video below, Tavarish just purchased the cheapest, still running, not-piece-of-shit Toyota Supra in the country. You may be asking, "Why would he do that? Why are these things so damn expensive now?" Well, just watch and find out.

  • I'll admit, when I saw the words 'cheapest Supra in the country' I didn't think it would be $23k...more than I can afford for a project. But you clearly did well, as it looks clean under the Fast and Furious design. I have no doubt you'll recoup the money or hold onto it as a solid investment.
