Over 900Hp in this Triple Rotor, Single Turbo Mazda RX-7 Monster
Wouter Bouman races this outrageous Mazda RX7 FD3S, powered by a single Turbocharged 20B Rotary engine capable of 916whp of power and 672ft-lbs of torque at 24psi. Using this spec for the 2017 edition of Knox Mountain Hillclimb, this Monster won the GT-O class and the event overall, all while posting a new All time Record in the class it competes in.
This proper Monster of an RX-7 is the product of continual development by Mr. Bouman and ForceFed Performance Turbos & Tuning in Canada. It boasts an impressive curriculum between Time Attack and Hillclimb events and its pinnacle was probably the run you just saw as it posted a 1:47.693, which equates to an All-Time record for the GTO class at the Knox Mountain Hillclimb.
The event should also be highlighted as it is the greatest Hillclimb disputed on Canadian ground and has experienced an exponential growth in both interest and competitors in the last years. Held in the beautiful region of Kelowna, it is set to be even better in 2018 and we hope to show more Monsters competing on it. Until then, fans can check their website at:
