Pack of Porsches pulled over in Colorado, all ten get tickets

A Porsche group out for a brisk mountain drive get in trouble to driving a little too briskly

An entire Porsche club in Colorado got ticketed by State Police for going twice the speed limit. Ten cars were allegedly doing 80 in a 40 mph zone, which is probably hard to talk yourself out of while sitting in the driver's seat of a Porsche. It's hard to tell from the picture tweeted out by Colorado State Police, but I count at least three Taycans, a Macan and Cheyenne, and a new 992 Cabriolet. Looks like there might be a Panamera too in the middle.

To prove that this wasn't staged, the cops posted up a sneak peak at the written tickets. Some of the replies to the tweet point out that this caravan of P-cars was travelling for a dealership event, not a local club. That sort of makes sense because there's close to one of every car from their lineup. Regardless, it's pretty hard to not stand out if you're travelling in a pack, even more so in Porsches.

Ever get pulled over driving with friends?

  • The right thing to do is COMPLY WITH THE POLICE, bad things happen when people don’t follow instructions.
