The 4.0-litre GT3 with PDK will hit 62mph in 3.4 seconds, half a second faster than the new six-speed manual. And it doesn’t sound too shabby either…

  • Mark surely you who owns a GT2RS know that it's not just about lap times. Driving a manual is just a fantastic experience. You can't feel more connected with a car with paddles. The experience is what counts, not that you got round the track at .5 seconds faster.

  • Ever since the 911 GT3 branch sprouted a new limb (GT3RS), has Porsche ever considered making the transmission the biggest distinguishing factor between the two- PDK only in the RS, for those who care about every millisecond, and the manual Only in the 'regular' one for those who like 3 pedals?
