Pagani Confirmed They're Developing An Electric Hypercar
Pagani's future will have far less V-12s than we hoped.
In the world of boutique hypercar manufacturers, Pagani is synonymous with emotional design and extreme attention to detail. Yet, even the artisans at Pagani cannot ignore the electric revolution.
In a recent interview with elTresTV ,Horacio Pagani confirmed his company was already working on a fully electric hypercar. He revealed they have about 20 engineers building the future of the brand and we can expect it to arrive around 2025.
Don't expect the successor to the current Huayra to be electic, but the successor to that car will be. Pagani still wants to focus on the purest mind set and plans on offering a manual transmission in the Huayra's successor.
Pagani also confirmed that AMG will continue to supply V-12 engines for the Huayra's successor so don't mourn the death of these fantastic engines just yet.

Oh no, the world is coming to an end. Will it have four power sockets at the rear?
Sounds weird .... I know but I’m sort of hoping that they use an F1 derived AMG V6 .. I mean think that engine is phenomenal... it has about 50 percent thermal efficiency. Most cars can’t manage 35%. The engine out paced it’s rivals by a far mile. They could do so much with it. Seems like a missed opportunity .
No thank-you. I will not touch an electric car with a 10 foot pole
A ten foot metal pole. *
I’ll touch it. Really really hard.
Every manufacturer is making an electric car these days...
