Pagid Proud to Fit Live a Resounding Success

At this year’s Automechanika Birmingham show at the NEC, we launched our first ever ‘Proud to Fit Live’ show.

4y ago

Our aim was to provide Pagid Proud to Fit garages with expert brake part fitting insight, expanded product range knowledge and the opportunity to ask burning industry questions. In partnership with Euro Car Parts, ‘Proud to Fit Live’ was held over two evenings, with a great turnout for each.

Not only we were able to offer training and listen to feedback, but also hand out several awards for winning Pagid-using garages. The awards are a new addition to our garage support offering and featured multiple categories across various criteria. We hope the victors display their awards proudly in their garages and workshops.

Best Newcomer - Mike Royston - Roystons of Sheffield
Brand Ambassador - David Earnshaw - Wood Lane Garage, Derby
Loyalty - Specialist Cars, Shrewsbury - David Painter
Lifetime Achievement - John Convery - Paisley Autocare, Paisley
Recognition Award - James Webb - Wheelbase, Brighton
Special Recognition - Adam Michaels - Endyke Tyres, Hull

Winner of the Special Recognition award, Adam Michaels of Endyke Tyres, commented: “Thank you; Pagid and Euro Car Parts have really helped us get to where we are now as a business and we wouldn’t be a success without their help”.

Robert Lightfoot, Executive Director Executive Director Sales EMEA at TMD Friction commented:

“The Proud to Fit Live event was a great success, incorporating our first awards ceremony, it was a big thank you to those who have helped Pagid grow into the number one braking brand in the UK. It was great to see so many enthusiastic technicians using Pagid and to hear their views. Certainly, we cannot wait for our next event.”

This first event is just the start for Pagid, as we aim to introduce several similar functions across this year and next. Stay tuned for more information, and if you are a Pagid Proud to Fit garage or workshop, you could be the winner of our next awards.
