Who would think that Porsche would design a 4 door vehicle with more space but an altogether sporty feel? Who would imagine the iconic 911 model would have a bigger brother to accommodate more people in with a specific family transport feel to it?
The Panamera 4 door was released and it set a benchmark for other executive manufacturers to meet. The "smooth" looking interior was the pinnacle that Porsche endured to meet with a new market hopefully being attracted to the Porsche brand. With a 8 speed PDK automatic gearbox, this large sedan has found itself open to an even bigger design.
Say hello the Executive model of the Panamera. In 6,7th and 8th gear, the vehicle has long ratios which keeps the revs on the vehicle low and therefore provides a smooth ride in this "LWB" model.
You have more leg space, head space and the ability to kit your model out with tray folding tables. That all in a Porsche!! No.
8.2 litres per 100 kilometres is a good fuel economy regarding such a big vehicle although according to people who have driven it, it still feels like a sporty vehicle. I am told it is a four door 911.
Some of the safety features include:
Night vision - this will come up on your digital interior screen and show you more than you would see from the headlights. A thermal indicator will appear as a warning to the driver. The object will be highlighted and a audible warning will sound alerting the driver of where the object may be. A very useful tool.
There is a smart phone compartment in the rear in which you can put your smartphone and see it charge whilst you relax in your comfortable chair.
Warning changing lane signals will appear when your vehicle goes across the lane line and will move back into the middle of the lane. The system will also alert you of tight corners long before you approach it.

The car can be put into the same category of the new AMG GT 4 door and seen to be in the same market as creating a new market for the manufacturer.
I admire this car for its beauty and now executive feel to it. The thought of a tablet in Porsche still dumbfounds me but hey, what beauty.
