Passo di Falzarego / Passo di Valzarola in winter
In 38 magnificent corners, the Passo di Falzarego (Falzarego Pass), which opened in 1909 as the last section of the Great Dolomite Road, links the towns of Andraz in the Val Cordevole with Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Valle del Boite. Legendary racing drivers such as Tazio Nuvolari once contested the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti here. Today, traffic hinders the hunt for fast times. Only in springtime, when the snow thaws on the asphalt and the campervans are safely tucked away in garages, can one still enjoy solitude on the Falzarego Pass. And what could be better for sporty drivers than to tackle these corners Tête-à-tête?
