People of Drivetribe, I have a question about the new Porsche Macan

7w ago

Interesting shake-up in the Porsche Macan range: the 'Turbo' model will no longer be produced BUT the *new* Macan GTS will utilize exactly the same powertrain that the *old* Turbo used. And the *new* Macan S will in turn inherit the engine out of the *old* GTS. In a practical sense, this means nothing's changed. In theory, it means people will no longer put the words 'Turbo' and 'Macan' in the same sentence... mm
What do we make of this?

  • Whatever it is the answer's no. Oh ... calling a none turbo charged vehicle a Turbo seems really off. It was a craze in the 1980's. I hoped it was gone. Maybe now? PLEASE?

  • I'm thinking of better ways to spend that amount of money on a Porsche than Macan. And there are plenty 😊
