August 23rd, 1985 - It was the start date of the 35th 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland during which Timo Salonen and co-driver Seppo Harjanne secured the world champions title both for drivers' and manufacturers' championships in a Peugeot 205 T16 Evo2. It was the first of two world titles achieved by this stunning icon of Group B era.
