- It's not the real Pink Pig, but a great use of the livery for Akira Nakai's next RWB creation.

Porsche caused a sensation with the “Pink Pig” livery at Le Mans in 1971. Back then, the car was the Porsche 917/20 and the livery was designed by Porsche designer Anatole Lapine. That year, the car was running fifth and towards the very end, dropped out because of an accident. In 2018, Porsche returned with this livery on a 991.2 and finished first at Le Mans!

Now, here we have another RWB by Akira Nakai that also wears the livery, and wears it well! There is another RWB called Sopranos that is all black. I'm pretty sure they're both in China, but I'm not sure whether they have the same owner.

This model is made by another company I wasn't familiar with, before. The company name is Fuel Me. They have the black Sopranos model coming, as well as a couple others. In these shots, I compare it to the Midas Touch, done by Tarmac Works. TW is also coming out with the Sopranos RWB, wearing the Pink Pig livery. I want to say that Fuel Me has a tan interior (as does the real model), while the shots I've seen of the TW model have shown a regular black interior. Maybe I'll give the Fuel Me model the edge, by a nose?

See for yourself. I hope you enjoy!
