Sometimes I'm amazed that we don't see more classic muscle around town, when Detroit steel used to rule these streets a few decades ago. Look up any picture of NYC in the 70s and you'll see Impalas, Javelins, Chevelles & others for miles.

While other areas of the country preserved these in significant numbers, it is a rare and welcome surprise whenever the sound of a pre-malaise era carbureted Big Block V8 rumbles down a New York City Street.
