Pininfarina Battista or Rimac Nevera?
Which version is the nicest EV Hypercar?
Top Gear recently tested Pininfarina Battista. It's based on the Rimac Nevera chassis and drivetrain.
With over 1,900 bhp both are mind-blowingly quick, here is the Rimac destroying the lovely Ferarri SF90 in the CarWow drag race:
and DragTimes racing it against a Tesla Plaid. Also destroying it: with an 8.5 sec 1/4 mile.
Arguably both the Ferarri and Tesla comparisons are a little unfair given both the Battista and Nevera are a lot more expensive.
It will be interesting to see either the Battista or Nevera on a track. How does the relatively high weight offset by the huge BHP and clever 4-wheel torque vectoring translate into track times?
Top Gear didn't performance test the Pininfarina Battista, but it should be very similar. Looks like the Battista is more luxury orientated and arguably looks nice.

I reckon the Battista looks nicer, and given the mechanical similarities I'd prefer that.
