The tender process started at the beginning of August, with tyre manufacturer Pirelli staying on top in the transparent, non-discriminatory process. As a fact, Pirelli will continue to supply tyres until the end of2020.

"After three successful years together, we are looking forward to continue the partnership with Pirelli in ADAC Formula 4", said ADAC Sport President Hermann Tomczyk. "During their first steps in this single-seater series, the young talents in ADAC Formula 4 start with products of the same manufacturer that also exclusively supplies tyres to Formula 1. The high-quality racing tyres from Pirelli create the best conditions for the junior drivers in ADAC Formula 4 to develop optimally."

"We are delighted to extend our agreement with ADAC as exclusive supplier in ADAC Formula 4 as well as ADAC GT Masters to 2020", added Michael Wendt, Chairman of the Managing Board of Pirelli Germany GmbH. "With this commitment we are presenting our racing tyres very prominently for another three years in one of the most important automobile markets in the world. ADAC Formula 4 is regarded as one of the most popular junior categories and ADAC GT Masters has established itself as an extremely competitive racing series long ago.
