I'll keep it short
As the drivetribe platform sinks we all are scrambling about to connect with each other , reddit / discord /oppositelock etc
But can - we /drivetribe team/ someone on the upper level/atleast make a cheap platform like opposite lock? Some fan fund etc anything would do
Like it would still be DRIVETRIBE which we represent- it was something different here- our own language , cocking about etc .its not the same on discord etc, just a simple website would do instead of all the other things.
Look at oppositelock - something like that would be perfect.

Here's an unpopular opinion:
Drivetribe should stay dead- at least for now. An attempt to create a successor would be in vain. Not only would growing it be a huge challenge (especially on a small budget), but it will be very hard to top the current Drivetribe. Look at Top Gear, once the Trio was gone, the show failed horribly.
I think you're also underestimating the costs of running a website. You have to pay for hosting, moderation, bug fixes, and updates. Even with just a fraction of Drivetribe's users, you're still looking at thousands of dollars. If Drivetribe can't make enough money to cover its costs, why should a new version do any better? Also, even though Drivetribe is going under, the branding is still trademarked and copyrighted, so a new platform would not be able to be called Drivetribe.
I know this isn't what you, or anyone else for that matter, want to hear, but at some point we have to let go. Join Oppo, and accept a new future. Sure things will be different there, but is that a bad thing? Change happens, and we have to embrace it. It's not going to be easy, but that's the situation we're in.

I think that would be a great idea! -So long as it can have a quizzes section! I'm really bummed that outside of DT, nobody seems to give a toss about us. For the most part, making quizzes takes just as much effort as writing articles, and I dare say, sometimes more.
I have no idea what the point of Discord is. I joined the other day simply because so many DT people mentioned it. It's like everyone is in one room with waving emojis, one sided conversations and endless scrolling. Not impressed.
I joined Oppositelock too, for the same reasons. Nothing for me to do there either.
Someone from Is It Fast? answered my DM. Sadly, no quizzes section, so that's out.
Gregson Mathe from Shifting Lanes told me that since his site is going to be totally revamped, it would definitely be a possibility that a quizzes section could be easily added. So, I'm pinning some of my hopes there.
Ammad Quraishi approached me with the proposition of starting his own site that caters to quiz makers as well. I filled out the form he posted. I hope it is successful as I'd love to be a part of that.
If I knew how, I would just as soon start my own thing as I do not like this desperate scrambling around trying to find a place that caters to my specific type of work.
Exaactly! What my point, opposite lock is the closest thing tho , at this time it would be great if we get atleast a similar thing ,then add more stuff!

Lot of people joined but lot of dont want to ,cuz its not what they wanted to be instead if there would be a same thing but known as drivetribe
