- UGears Tractor painted up in John Deere livery

Plywood, Toothpicks, some Rubber Bands: a Tractor is born!

U-Gears Model tractor that I built and painted.

You all might remember I wrote some articles on two models that I built a few months ago from UGEARS. Now they have given me a 10% DISCOUNT code: GERTMAN. You can use this code to buy any of their models and build them anyway you like.

Below are links to the previous two models I built from UGEARS.

This is my newest completed model, it's a tractor and only has 97pcs and sells for $29.90 before your 10% discount.

This model may look simple but it's wonderfully engineered with two speeds and idle

It actually only uses two rubber bands that are cut and put into slots. As you can see from the above videos, two drive speeds are possible along with a park setting.

The portion in the middle gets rotated a full 90deg for high speed.

This model was truly elegantly designed and went together VERY smoothly. Unlike some of their more complicated models there was really no need to sand any parts.

For anyone that follows me on Instagram, I'm building their Combine Harvester right now, also in green and yellow.

Remember if you want to buy this model or any other of their models, here is UGEARS website. Here is the 10% DISCOUNT code: GERTMAN.

  • They way it sounds when it slowed down reminds of an old John Deere A at a tractor pull.
