New IMSA driver/entrant Jackie Heinricher (pictured, center) visits the Marshall Pruett Podcast for an episode of My Racing Life and Career to share stories of her upbringing, military service, love for science and the founding of a biotech firm.

Heinricher also details how a late introduction to motor racing has led to partnering with Meyer Shank Racing and Acura for a WeatherTech SportsCar Championship program in 2019 where Katherine Legge will co-drive and a new sponsor will underwrite the effort.

ABOUT MARSHALL PRUETT

The 2018 season marks Marshall Pruett's 32nd year working in the sport. In his role today for RACER, Pruett covers open-wheel and sports car racing as a writer, reporter, photographer, and filmmaker. In his previous career, he served as a mechanic, engineer, and team manager in a variety of series, including IndyCar, IMSA, and World Challenge.
