Porcshe 911 GT2 RS: the forgotten Porsche supercar
You’ve probably heard of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, but did you know it’s younger brother is faster?
You most likely love the Porcshe 911 GT3 RS (who doesn’t?) It is the most talked about and famous Porcshe GT. If you ask a somewhat car enthusiast they would say “oh yeah of course the GT3 RS is faster.” Yeah well they’re wrong. The difference is engine and top speed. The GT3 RS does 0-60 in 3 seconds with a 4.0 L, naturally aspired flat-6. That gives it a top speed of 193 mph. The GT2 on the other hand with a 3.8 L twin turbocharged flat-6 does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and has a top speed of 211 mph. In car world that’s a big difference. The only downside is that the GT3 is about $100,000 less and easier to get. I’m not saying the GT3 is bad, honestly it’s one of my all time favorite cars, but I do want to make it a point that the GT2 RS is underrated and still faster. You might say people still talk about the GT2 which they do, but all I‘m saying is that the GT3 sometimes get a little to much credit.
Thanks so much for reading and comment down below your thoughts on the Porcshe 911 GT2 RS.
