Porsche 356

InkTober 2017, Nr. 10

3y ago

The 356 was the first car that was produced by the company Porsche. It was produced from 1948 to 1965. It was a lightweight, rear-engine and rear-wheel car. You could order different configurations for example a hardtop coupé or two open models. Of the 76'000 cars produced 50% did survive.

The engineers used a flat-four that was originally built for the VW Beetle but did change some parts to double the hp. Depending on the engine the topspeed differed between 140km/h (87mph) and 200km/h (124mph).
