A yellow Porsche 911 GT2 RS has been spotted doing laps of the Nurburgring. The 2018 model was officially launched at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Powered by a 3.8L twin turbo engine, the car produces 690BHP.
It appears Porsche have been driving the GT2 RS flat out at the 'Ring to prepare for setting an official lap time. The fastest road-legal Porsche ever to lap the Nurburgring was the 918 Spyder, which set a time of 6:57. Earlier this year, the new 911 GT3 set a 7:12 lap. Will the GT2 RS be able to set a sub 7 minute lap?
