      2y ago

Relive that hair-raising world record lap of the Nordschleife from the comfort of your sofa with this detailed 1:18 scale model of the new 911 GT2 RS. Finished in Speed Yellow and with the weight-saving Weissach pack, it’s almost as good as the real thing and noticeably more economical. #Porsche #PorscheAdventCalendar (911 GT2 RS: combined fuel consumption 11.8 l/100km; 212g/km CO2e.)

      • I water my 1:43 & 1:18 standard and Weissach versions daily hoping that would grow in size to the real thing!!!

        • I've even taken to rubbing the roof like a lantern hoping my wish for the real one on order to be granted too!!

      • Math time! The model costs $387.18, and the actual vehicle costs $293,200. So one may indeed think that it is better to buy the model, and not the car. However, the model is a 1:18 scale replica. So, if that scale is expanded in three dimensions (and the price increased with a direct variation), it's price would be $387.18×18^3= $2,258,033.76. So it's actually more cost effective (nearly eight times as such) buy the real, faster, and immensely more powerful Porsche 911 GT2 RS! Gosh, I need a better hobby...

        • Excellent maths, there Max. I’d prefer the full size one too. ^BJWS
