Porsche builds 'Classic Project Gold'

Porsche is making itself a very special present to celebrate its 70th anniversary this year. Dubbed the “Classic Project Gold” it will be undertaken by Porsches classic division.

Each week Porsche will release a new video of the “Classic Project Gold". Each video will include behind the scenes footage of the production stages. "Vision" is the first of the eight videos in the series reveal.

The project car looks as if it may be based around the type 993 911, but we will have to wait for later episodes to be certain.

World Premier and Auction

The world premier of 'Classic Project Gold' will be held at the Rennsport Reunion VI, in Northern California on the 27 September 2018.

Then finally on October 27 2018 Sotheby's will auction the unique Porsche as one of the 70 lots in Porsches 70th Anniversary Sale.

The price? Anyone's guess but it wont be cheap!
