Porsche driver Collides with biker on the Nurburgring
Video: Porsche Cayman GT4 collides with biker on the Nurburgring knocking him off his bike
This crash footage was captured last Sunday at the Nurburgring and it shows a black Porsche Cayman GT4 clipping a motorbike rider and knocking him off his bike.
The Porsche and the bike met as they entered the same bend and it looks like the Cayman driver was attempting to overtake the biker.
The Cayman clips the bike, and as a result of the knock the biker is thrown from his bike, landing on the tarmac before rolling several times and ending up on the grass.
It looked like a very harsh impact but thankfully the biker was properly kitted out in a good helmet and full gear from heard to toe. After the rider was taken to hospital for further checkups, it was discovered he injured his collarbone.
This incident could have been much worse...

I just watched this a couple of times and it really appears to me that the biker hits the porsche, not the other way around. Is there something i'm not seeing? It seems like the bike could have and likely should have turned in more to prevent this as the Porsche was at the far edge of the track and couldn't have possibly given any more space.
He probably didn't expect the car and got startled. Kept his focus on the car and that's where you automaticly go towards. That's the same way my first crash happend. You always go where you are looking.
Looks like the biker was running wide and the porsche driver tried to stay out as close to the grass as possible
Well you should overtake on the left I believe, car was right on the far left and I think sadly the biker forgot to check his mirror before going wide, just clips the side of the car with his front wheel, game over... Don't think the car did anything wrong there, but a lot more money wasted!
Correct
The biker was a total knob with zero idea about race lines its fools like this who harm others !
Remind me what "race" were they in?
What the hell kind of racing line was that bike rider taking?
