Porsche will race in Formula E until 2026
Mahindra, DS and Nissan are the other teams that have confirmed their presence
It was 2019 when Porsche decided to enter the Formula E championship by presenting its new 99X built with the collaboration of Spark Racing Technology. Initially, André Lotterer and Neel Jani, who had previously raced for DS Techeetah and Dragon Racing, were hired as drivers.
Lotterer proved to be the best driver, taking two second places in Saudi Arabia and Germany. This year the championship has not started very well for the German team, but its management continues to believe that they can achieve very satisfactory results in the future.
For this reason its participation has been confirmed until 2026, adapting to the new regulations that will be introduced from next season. Before her, Mahindra, DS and Nissan had already confirmed their presence.
