Limited and only for Belgium

Jacky Ickx is a Belgian motorsport legend. He has raced in Formula 1 from 1966 - 1979 where he raced for Ferrari, McLaren, Williams and Lotus. Even though he never won a world championship, he was quite good because he has won Le Mans 6 times one of which included driving the previous year's Ford GT to victory in 1969 after which he got 4 Le Mans victories for Porsche. He has also been a co-driver to Australian Legend Allan Moffat during the 1977 Bathurst 1000, driving the iconic XC Falcon with the black bonnet and the red and blue racing stripes, which won that year. He still is involved with racing.

..bespoke paint, even on the wheels..

To celebrate Belgian legend Jacky Ickx's 75th birthday, Porsche, specifically Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and Belgian Porsche importer “D’ieteren”, have created a special edition 911 to honour him. This is because of his contributions to Porsche's motorsport success during the 70s and 80s.

They based the car on the 992 Carrera 4S and the design takes cues from Jacky Ickx's blue racing helmet. Hence, the bespoke blue colour on the car matches the helmet. Porsche call it 'X Blue'. The same colour finds its way to the Carrera Classic wheels that comes with white accents, mimicking Ickx's helmet with the white line on the visor.

The cabin is finished in Black leather and the stitching is in Pebble Grey. There is cross stitch on the dashboard, door panel and rear trim, this is because of X pattern which again pays tribute to the Ickx. The interior is a bit unique with seat piping in Pebble Grey, 911 lettering on the headrests, seat backs finished in leather.

Since this is a special edition, you get Ickx's signature embossed on the leather centre armrest, 'Belgian Legend Edition' on the cars carbon sill guards, a badge showing the Belgian flag and Ickx’s signature on the B-pillar of the driver's side and the colour matched key fob featuring Icks's signature.

There is a sight issue and this is not because how limited this special edition 911 is, it is only 75 examples, one for each year since Ickx's birth, but for where it is available - Belgium. This makes sense but, this is the only country where this will be available for sale.
