Powah Wagon

Another episode of the love-hate relationship with Greenlight 1/64

The 1/64 pick ups from Greenlight have long been in the bucket list for me. The first taste came in the form of RAM 1500 in a cop car guise, and later on I had the chance to examine some from a friend's collection. Lately, the collection has been growing, and finally the much - anticipated Power Wagon joined the bunch.

The width looks a tad bit less than ideal for the ride height.

Unfortunately though, this is a Greenlight, and a Greenlight 1/64 that is (relatively) free from QC woes is akin to a grail find.

Wobbly wheels and tires dampen the appeal of an otherwise decent casting.

GL Ram range is hard to resist, even with all the flaws. The Dually Drivers variant has much better finish than the Power Wagon

Yet another mixed bag from Greenlight. Flawed, yet beautiful.

      Thanks for stopping by!

      • great pix- they might not be perfect, but i'm still happy with them. they were a big hit at the Ram Rides & Refreshments show. (I don't worry about the wheels- because they all get glued, so they don't roll off "the set"

        • Thanks mate! Yes of course, the GL pickups are pretty nice after all, and boy don't they work very well with your Dios!

      • Love this casting! I have the same one. The wheel wobble can be easily rectified but takes time and a little patient on eyeballing.
