Probably the first EV charger in Europe that works with a plain bank card was just put in service in Hungary. No more messing around with dozens of apps, registering everywhere, just pay contactless. You can see it here in the video at minute 10:39 youtu.be/zBseb5I0HyI

About fucking time. Why do the EV charging people keep wanting to reinvent the wheel. We have had card payment for over 60 years, yet some companies just want to box people into an expensive and complicated proprietary system that adds no value.
