Today, armed with a freshly minted certificate from the flying medic who had reassured himself that my left leg still bends in the middle, I took the first step towards getting back in the air. Having organised a brief refresher session for this morning, I arrived at Gloucestershire Airport to find that Jon and the team at Heliflight had gone that extra mile to make sure my return to flying went well.

  • Good job they didn't get May to write them. It would have took a hour to read each message if he had done them.
