Project Black Mamba: The Rare Land Rover Defender 6x6
If you think a Land Rover Defender 6x6 either; A) does not exist, or, B) is a custom build, then you're incorrect on both counts. Back in 80s the British marque made 6x6s as specialist vehicles for the Australian Army. Since the 6x6 was big hit, they made some available to other militaries in the world and, for a small period of time, the general public.
Classic Overland is a company from Georgia, USA and they got hold of an example from South Africa which was in good condition. They took 80s tough car and brought it into today's world.
Under the bonnet, the 3.5 litre V8 was replaced with a 6.2 litre GM LS3 with an engine output of 430 Hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. They also improved the structure of the car and added a roll cage. Along with this they improved the suspension, gave it a snorkel exhaust, a front end winch and completed the exterior with a set of all-terrain tyres.
But, they did not stop there, they decked the complete interior in premium all-black leather. This makes it perfect for Darth Vader, a James Bond villain or any cool bad guy that exists. It's probably the most intimidating vehicle out there.
The best part is Classic Overland are willing to customise the SUV according to your desires. Currently, They are selling the "Project Black Mamba" which has 30,000 miles on the odometer for $315,000 - a price a villain can afford.
