Project CL: The ultimate beach Defender

Who would not want this?

E.C.D Design is famous for creating bespoke Land Rover Defenders as per client request. This client requested a D90 convertible that is perfect for taking to the beach. So the folks at E.C.D Design got one, added a soft-top cage and then re-did everything about it.

Making it very capable is a 430hp LS3 engine paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission, big Brembo brakes, adjustable air suspension from E.C.D, SVX side metal black steps, daytime running lights and Warn winch. Project CL rides on Khan 1983 18" Satin black wheels paired to BF Goodrich all-terrain tyres. To complete the SUV, it comes in Land Rover's Arles Blue paint.

On the inside, everything is covered in Irish Creame leather from Garrett Leather and the front seats are diamond-stitched and are heated. There are 4 jump seats in the rear (not heated) for the client's friends. Completing the interior is a Mono Prototipo wooden steering wheel and Silver gauges.

All modern tech is included - stereo with many speakers, remote locking, power windows etc, making it a properly thought out restomod, without losing its essence of a tough British off-roader.
