Proper Classic - 9.500Rpm Boxer Engined, Alfa Romeo Sprint Martini
Michael Kuster´s Monster puts together a High Revving Naturally Aspirated thrills with Iconic looks
Michael Kuster drives this beautiful Alfa Romeo Sprint on the Swiss Hillclimb Championship, properly tuned to battle much more more modern machinery in the E1-1600 Class. With its 1.6L Boxer Engine in Naturally Aspirated form producing over 240Hp at a frenetic 9.500Rpm, this FWD Classic is certainly one of the most melodic machines in Hillclimb Racing coupling the beautiful high-revving soundtrack with Iconic looks, sporting the Classic Martini Racing livery.
A particularly interesting thing about this machine is the amount of effort put into making the Boxer engine a competitive unit. Michael Kuster has designed himself a lot of the modified parts and went as far as having some parts being built by Sauber F1, so the material quality was up to the standards required.
Here you can watch it both from outsde and inside at Oberhallau Hillclimb 2018. Special thanks to MaxiPixelRallye for the outside footage provided without which this video would be impossible to make. Subscribe to their Channel right here:
