Pulled over by the Police! Was I in the wrong? I don't think so. Opinions please
He saw me pull out of a junction in Scarborough- I believe it was a safe manoeuvre and a safe speed, and have verified this with other local road user
He saw me pull out of a junction in Scarborough- I believe it was a safe manoeuvre and a safe speed, and have verified this with other local road users.
He then proceeded to accuse me of speeding and flying round corners, which is not true
Overall, didn't like his attitude! Was all wrong. I'm a professional driver with extensive local knowledge!

You went straight through a give way without slowing, despite the fact that there were already people on the road crossing. Lack of observation and a danger to other people. They had every right to pull you.
Pedestrians, mate! Halfway across the road and you just drove past in front of them. Should've stopped, even if you weren't obliged by law. IdiotUKDrivers Exposed, huh? How ironic... Instant karma for you.
Yield give way junction you have to stop for all traffic crossing your path both vehicular and pedestrian
Pedestrian not finished crossing for a start.
It's "Giveway", not Stop! 13mph is fine. I'm surprised he didn't try do you for not stopping for pedestrians. Once pedestrians are in the road crossing, they have right of way. I reckon you were coming to a slow without using your brakes. So as he didn't see any break lights, he assumed you must have raced through the Giveway without looking. Anyway, there's two sides to a story and we don't know exactly what the copper saw or thought he saw.
