So, a very brief observation. Here’s why I just don’t like today’s convertible mid-engined supercars.
You see, even on the previous generations of these cars, things were still fine. Now though, you have to go for the coupé version, otherwise you’ll just have spent 6 figures on a car that looks just as if they ran out of material.
Amazingly with the R8, they still make it right. Its own sibling however, the baby Lambo, well that’s the best example to show you guys how much I hate this situation. Look at it, they literally ran out of material and then… yeah a piece of cloth like from an umbrella will fix it. Am I right? Even Corvettes with their huge rear end make it right with the convertible version, because the coupé is already a hardtop at the same time, so no problem with this one, well done Chevy!!
So, what about McLaren and Ferrari? Still the same problem with the roof down. However, I can forgive those a bit because, at least they use hardtops instead of some piece of cloth, so with the roof up they both look way better, despite the extra folding panel bits.
In conclusion, ’94 Ferrari F355 GTS manual.
