- Remains of a blown out bearing.
- Weld a complete ring on the inside of the bearing. Yes I know those welds look like crap but I have a crappy welder at my home shop.
- And success! I've done this on hundreds of different bearings of all different sizes and it has always worked for me !

Quick tip here, if you have a blown out bearing that you can't get out of a housing lay a weld beadon the inside of whats left of the bearing. As the weld cools it shrinks, shrinking the bearing with it. Plus you now have a good apot for your punch!
