The upgrades continue on the Toyota Hilux. This week is a set of 15mm hub spacers in aluminum, for a total increase of 30mm in the track width.
The truck will still roll so some more suspension tuning is needed, but it went from a 29 second lap down to 19.20 today. Vastly improved handling over before.
I accidentally jumped it and it flew perfectly flat for about 6 feet around 2-3 feet off the ground, landed, spit 3 feet of roost and took off. Perfectly terrifying and thrilling at the same time. The balance is really good in this rig.
Tomorrow is a bit windy so I’m going to try some roost videos and see how it looks.
