The Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 will have an optional Limited Black trim which will dress the truck in all black and add some new luxurious features.

Key Points

1. Added features will include monochromatic black grilles, wheels, badging, exhaust tips, and more.

2. Ram has announced Night versions of the 2021 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups.

3. They will reach dealerships in the third quarter of 2021.

Ram has unveiled the Ram Limited Night editions, which will add a plethora of appearance items and luxury features. Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty Limited Night Editions will include monochromatic black badging, exhaust tips, a R-A-M grille and a sport performance hood. Tow hooks, a tri-fold tonneau cover, and body-color bumpers will also be standard. Single wheel Heavy Duty trucks will come standard with black 20-inch wheels, and dual wheel models will be fitted with 17-inch ones.

Limited Night models will be equipped with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system.

The Ram Limited models are the highest trim already, so the price is already 'up there'. Limited Night 1500's will start at $61,740 after fees are added and Ram Heavy Duty Night's, will begin at an increased $62,930-they aren't giving these things away.

The Limited Night is a waste of money, period. However, if you do want a goth, mean looking pickup truck, the Limited Night Ram's are the way to go.

  • I don’t understamd the reasoning behind these stupid “special edition appearance packages”

    • I don’t either but to each their own I guess. What is “stupid” to one person makes sense to another. As much as possible ... Live and let live I say.

  • The price point is typical for a truck. As for the “special edition” package ... meh ... I have a white F150 that I work very hard. It’s a work truck and used for towing and hauling ... you know? ... as trucks were meant to be used. If i wasn’t in the construction biz, I would never daily drive a truck.

However ... I would never want to be without one either. If you own a home that you are working on ... or a boat ... or a couple of motorcycles ... or snow machines ... or you need to buy anything of size IE ... generators, pressure washers, appliances ... or if a family member is moving ... etc etc etc ... you’ll want to own a truck.

In short, Once you have one, you’ll never want to be without.

  • That’s a lot of coin for a truck.

  • Supercool car! Give me one. Please. I would look way more cool in that, than in my Chevy Kalos.
