RAM teases for the first time the Rebel TRX

Unveil in summer

1w ago

Designed to enjoy off-road fun while maintaining maximum practicality, sporty pickup trucks are a trend in the United States. The now famous Ford F-150 Raptor is the star of sales. It is followed by the Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Trail Boss. These machines are characterized by their more powerful engines and their raised suspension.

RAM enters the battle with a series production version of its Rebel TRX. The vehicle was due to be introduced shortly but the health crisis changed the American manufacturer's schedule. As a result, it's only now that RAM starts the teasing campaign for his future sporty pickup truck.

A very short video posted on RAM's Facebook page highlights...dust. We can assume that it was raised by the Rebel TRX which does not appear once in the whole sequence. However, we can't miss the sound of the engine, the 707 bhp HEMI Hellcat V8 from the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

The vehicle is expected to adopt specific elements such as more pronounced wheel arches and an upgraded suspension to set it apart from the conventional lineup. The RAM Rebel TRX is expected to be introduced later this summer.

  • I read it's going to have launch control, which I think is kind of stupid for a truck.

  • I wouldn’t want to subject an expensive engine with fiat electronics to where id take a powerful 4wd. Guess ill just take my scout with carb’d 345.
