Ram TRX Eats Ford F-150 Raptor Alive In Drag Race
Because a T-Rex is simply, patently bigger and meaner than a Raptor, even if it is an F-150
Drag-racing supercars and performance variants of cult faves are a dime a dozen in this site these days. Trucks, on the other hand, are a bit rarer, especially for new performance pre-runner trucks that now act as the top dogs in Ford and Dodge, respectively.
So The Fast Lane Truck channel went ahead and pitted the new Ram TRX vs the EcoBoost F-150 Raptor, and for funsies, also lined up a Chevy Silverado and baby-brother Ram Rebel.
Spoiler alert: there's no contest.
Absolutely none of the three trucks could measure up to the TRX, as it ran away from the Raptor by almost a second ahead. And it wasn't like the Raptor is a slouch -- it too dumpstered the Silverado and Ram Rebel.
Of course, the TRX hasn't fought the Yenko/SC Silverado Off-Road, so it remains to be seen if the TRX truly can eat all comers. But my money's on the Ram.
