I'm fully aware that I am opening the door to a lot of criticism on my selections, but I wouldn't have become a motoring journalist if I wasn't able to do my own list on the best Ferrari of all time. If your favourite Ferrari doesn't appear on the list, please feel free to comment and tell me that there is a special place in hell reserved for me.
20. F12 Berlinetta
The F12 has a biblical naturally aspirated 6.3 litre Ferrari V12 engine.
19. Dino 246 GT
Please don't bring up the 'not a Ferrari' argument. I beg of you.
18. 512 BB
Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti, who also designed the Daytona and 288 GTO.
17. F50
by Blosterblu
The F50 was launched just as my car obsession took hold of me. I still remember my first sighting of the F50 in Spain. This is often forgotten about as it was a slower version of its predecessor the F40, but it really shouldn't be. One of the best sounding cars ever.
Feel free to spend 4 minutes and 42 seconds in heaven in the video below.
16. 400 Superamerica Series II LWB
The 60's were the peak era for Ferraris when it came to elegance, and this is a stunning example.
15. 355
Jeremy Clarkson himself owned one of these beauties. This was also my first track day car at the age of 17 and I'm glad I wore brown boxers that day.
14. 308 GTS
If it's good enough for Tom Selleck it's good enough for 14th place...
13. Daytona (365 GTB/4)
Such an iconic car and every angle is stunning. The prices of these have rocketed in recent years.
12. Enzo
This had a lot of Formula one technology in it and it showed. Also contained the unbelievable Ferrari V12 engine.
11. Testarossa
An 80's icon. Not without its faults, but I can overlook that with its sublime looks.
10. La Ferrari
by Benoit cars
A modern day masterpiece. Often ridiculed for its name, it will certainly go down as one of the all-time Ferraris in any list.
9. 275 GTB
Cruising the continent is scarcely done better, than in the 275 GTB.
8. 166 S
This car won the Mille Miglia in both 1948 and 1949. It also sounds like an absolute monster.
7. 288 GTO
Rear of the year? A brutal machine and beautiful from every angle.
6. 250 Testa rossa
Watch Henry Catchpole drive the 3 litre V12 here: drivetribe.com/p/UU8TfvBhR4yRzBmlXrZO5g?iid=Lums_Dt7SO27WKi36uj0cA
5. 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso
Designed to be the perfect way to tour the most beautiful roads in Europe.
4. 250 GT Spyder California
These are going for silly money now. I'd like to think it is because of the stunning design rather than the car featuring in the film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.'
3. 250 GT SWB
I may have already included the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso, but the 250 GT SWB just has to be included. Proportions are absolutely perfect.
2. 250 GTO
The king of the auction house, this has broken the world record a few times for the most expensive car ever. However, that's not the reason it makes the #2 spot. It is often thought of as the car that symbolises Ferrari's character and philosophy best of all.
1. F40
The last Ferrari that Enzo personally approved. The F40 was the first supercar to reach 200 MPH, but it's so much more than that. It doesn't have any of the driver aids as the cars of today do. It was down to you, the driver.
The F40 is not just the best Ferrari of all time, it is the best car of all time.

Where is the 458 speciale?😥
Came to this post like: "if F40 is not #1 I'm going to be disappointed", I wasn't
F40 on top. Anything else is impossible...
Sig. Fioravanti is my favourite Ferrari designer. By miles.
Enzo should be higher than 12th
